Richard Hall rounded James Wright out of turn 2 to lead heat 1, and resisted stern pressure from James to take the win. David Speight passed Jonathan Bethell on the 4th bend to claim 3rd. Karl Langley rounded Charles Wright on the 4th bend to lead heat 2 until Michael Mitchell fell at the back. In the rerun it was Carl Bellfield that led the way with Karl Langley coasting over the line with a dead motor for the odd point. Slow starting Paul Cooper grabbed a handful of throttle to pass Luke Priest out of turn 4, and then Lee Derbyshire on turn 1 to win heat 3, but Ben Wilson pulled up on the 4th turn of lap 3 whilst leading heat 4. Karl Langley won heat 8 in fine style and a 5-1 from Paul Cooper and Luke Priest in heat 9 put the Prowlers back ahead.

Richard Hall and David Speight put us 8 ahead in heat 9 allowing James Wright to score double in heat 11 and reduce our lead to 3. Paul Cooper and Karl Langley took another maximum in heat 12 with Paul Burnett falling at the back of the field but quickly clearing the track. James Wright left it very late in heat 13 but swooped majestically around Ben Wilson on the second turn and then powered around Richard Hall off the final bend to win heat 13, and Benji Compton claimed 3rd as Ben Wilson retired on the third turn.

Luke Priest won the restarted heat 14 passing Lee Derbyshire with a neat inside line after Karl Langley had fallen into the fence on the second turn on the first attempt. Heat 15 was crunch time with a 5-1 required for the bonus point, and as the Prowlers pair trapped ahead it was looking like a possibility. James Wright however had other ideas and had no trouble whatsoever in rounding Ben Wilson who had reverted to his conservative inside line. With the Tigers and Prowlers both in action on Monday it will be interesting to see who is brought in to cover for the two missing heat leaders, and indeed if Paul Cooper is able to make a rare away appearance.
