2010 programme Hugh Skidmore gated to lead heat 1 but Andre Compton took Josef Franc wide into the first turn and after that Josef never made up lost ground. Paul Cooper dived through on the inside of Richard Lawson on the first bend to lead heat 2, but Arlo Bugeja never looked like challenging newcomer Kenny Ingalls and trailed home last. Richard Hall led heat 3 but Chris Schramm turned right on Ricky Ashworth on the back straight and they both tumbled off. After a protracted delay while Ricky received medical attention and we waited for the sun to go down past the roof of the fourth bend stand the race restarted at 8:30pm. Craig Cook had little chance as the Tigers sped to a 5-1 with Richard half a straight ahead as the flag came down. Arlo made a good start to lead heat 4, briefly, as Peter Kildemand took the lead on the first lap. Josh Auty recovered from a poor first turn to dispatch both Kenny and Arlo but was too far adrift to catch Peter. Ricky and Richard trapped ahead in heat 5 and left Andre well behind. Tigers lead by 8 points.

Josef trapped to lead heat 6 while Hugh tried a wide blast but just lost a lot of ground. Richard put pressure on Josef for a lap or two before fading and Peter looked safely on for a point before his machine failed on the last lap. Chris Schramm trapped to lead heat 7 but Paul powered around him out of turn two to lead. Josh snatched second place diving through on the inside at the start of second lap. Hugh led heat 8 but came under pressure from Rusty Harrison. Arlo passed Kenny on the inside of the pits turn to steal one point back and Rusty rounded Hugh exiting turn two on the third lap, although Hugh reclaimed the lost position on the next turn. The Tigers took a 5-1 in heat 9 despite Peter being on a tactical. Hugh trapped to lead heat 10 and just held off Chris Schramm's outside burst on the second bend. Josef was at the back of the field and never looked like making a pass. Tigers lead now stands at twenty point.

Andre was on a tactical in heat 11 and made the gate taking Paul wide on the first turn. Josh was soon on his tail but couldn't get through, while Rusty and Paul had a cracking race for third place with Paul easing clear on the last lap. Ricky was untroubled as he completed his maximum in heat 12. Arlo tried to stay with Richard but there was never any danger of a pass. Josef trapped ahead in heat 13 but Jim Lawrence wasn't having any of that and called all four back. Second time around the Comets lead but Josh is on a mission and rounds both Josef and Peter on the pits turn on the first lap. He closes in on Andre and dives into the lead on the third bend on the last lap. Brilliant! Richard leads heat 14 with Paul half a straight behind in second place. I'm sure Paul would have loved a chance at team riding but instead Craig dived through into second place at the start of the third lap. The Comets lead away in heat 15 with Andre baulking Richard's line on the first turn. Richard recovered to catch Peter and dived past at the start of the third lap.
