Run-Off for 1st place
Pete Lansdale 1ST
Tommy Bateman 2nd
73.4

Plymouth's Pete Lansdale beat ex-Tiger Tommy Bateman in the run-off for first place and received the £30 cheque from Mr. Pat Reekie of the Sunday Dispatch.

The distribution of riders to heats and their helmet colours looked strange with some riders going 8 heats between races, and starting gate positions were selected at random for every heat by the use of a ballot box.
