The rain set in half an hour before the start, but with Somerset keen to finish their
fixtures and there being no suitable dates for re-scheduling it was decided to press ahead.
Top shale was bladed back to remove a problem rut and there were some good performances even
if racing was out of the question. Facundo earned his keep, and Nick Morris seemed totally
un-phased by the conditions...
