After 7 hours queueing through road works and heavy traffic I was disappointed with the Tigers display on a track
on which they have a good record. The home riders took 12 out of 15 chequered flags with Steady taking two heat wins
and Dmitri heading the impressive Paul Starke to win heat 14.
Kyle battled hard but took time to appreciate that the outside line had a distinct advantage. Josh passed Brady in heat
1 after nudging the tapes, and Bradley in heat 6 but made far too many errors trying too hard in his other races. Jason
taped in heat 4 but recovered to finish second, was well beaten by Brady and Jake in heat 6, fell in heat 9 and retired
in heat 13, not exactly his best nights work. Arthur and Nathan beat only Luke Chessell as they also failed to spot that the home riders went immediately for the
outside line.
