Top scorer I'm guessing there had been quite an inspirational pre-meeting briefing considering the way the Tigers ripped into the Rebels. Steady and Josh Bates got the drop in heat 1 but Simon elected to put as much room as possible between him and Josh Grajczonek leaving JoshB to fend for himself which he managed by keeping his head down and riding a good line. Arthur got a flyer in heat 2 which Craig pulled back. The Rebels made no mistake at the second attempt with New Zealander Bradley Wilson-Dean rounding their guest, teenage sensation Dan Bewley at the end of the first lap. Kyle and Dmitri were first to show in heat 3 and were untroubled. Nathan got a flyer to lead heat 4 but Jason passed him on the back straight. Rohan Tungate took a couple of laps before making his move, and then baulked Nathan so badly that Dan managed to catch him on the fun to the flag. JoshG and Jake Allen trapped to win heat 5 with the home riders well off the pace which leaves the scores level.

Simon and JoshB trapped in heat 6 but Rohan passes Josh out of turn two. Following their opening ride Charles Wright and Paul Starke had a point to make in heat 7 and Jason paid the price. Arthur got another flyer in heat 8 and was pulled back again. Jake Allen burst between the Tigers out of turn two in the rerun and was never caught. Rohan was leading comfortably until the second lap of heat 9 when he ground to a halt. JoshB was pulled back for a flyer in heat 10. Charles took a purler into the second bend fence in the rerun and unfortunately left the track in the ambulance. Paul led the second restart but Simon breezed past on the third turn to give the Tigers a slender two point lead.

Jason got the edge over JoshG and held on by the skin of his teeth to win heat 11. Arthur passed Bradley on the back straight and struggling Kyle just managed to hold off Dan to extend the lead in heat 12. Simon leads heat 13 from JoshG and with Jason ahead of Rohan it's looking good for the tigers. JoshG goes for glory around the pit bend at the end of the third lap and is swallowed by the fence. Thankfully he walks away with just his average damaged. Arthur trapped to lead heat 14 only for Dmitri to power past on the back straight. Arthur then comes under pressure from both Paul and Bradley and all three trade places until Arthur pulls clear of them on the last lap. Heat 15 sees Jason and Jake in a tangle on the first bend with Jason tumbling off. It's not Jason's day as he exceeds the time allowance and he eventually starts 15m behind mounted on Josh's bike. Rohan speeds into the lead at the third time of asking and although Simon passes Jake he cannot catch Rohan who denies Simon his maximum.

A good result for the Tigers against strong opposition with six of the team claiming at least a paid win. Kyle looked down on power and Nathan struggled even when he made the gate.
