© Class Trend Ltd. The track looked in great shape, plenty of shale and well watered. Ricky powered his way to the front in heat 1 and scorched around equaling the fastest time of the season. Ed Kennett retired from second place on the third turn on the first lap. Ben Powell took the lead in heat 2 with Benji trailing him and Adam Roynon climbing all over Paul at the back. Adam grabbed a handful of throttle and blasted around Paul on the last lap only to grind to a halt on the third turn. Kyle and Emiliano teamed up for a maximum in heat 3 ahead of hard pressing Steve Boxall. Ricky was rider replacement in heat 4 but it was Benji who caught the eye as he trapped ahead of Chris Neath and rode a good steady line to finish ahead of him too! If truth be told it was more down to incompetency on Chris's part, although on the other hand Benji didn't fall off either. Kyle led by the back straight in heat 5 from Ed and Emiliano. Ed took an uncharacteristic wide line on the third and fourth turns so Emiliano cut under him and passed him on the inside of the pits turn. For the remaining three laps Ed was glued to the white line but it did him no good.

Ben led heat 6 with Ricky rounding Chris Neath and then riding shotgun. Emiliano was the rider replacement in heat 7 but he demolished the tapes earning himself a 15 metre handicap. The Rockets out-gated Paul who just didn't have the power to mount a serious challenge but didn't seem inclined to give Emiliano a go at them. Ben powered his way around the field to lead heat 8 but Benji was left trailing at the back. Emiliano took the lead in heat 9 with another big swoop around the outside on turn two and Kyle followed him home for the 5-1 ahead of Chris Neath who never looked like attempting a pass. Ben led heat 10 until Ricky blasted past at the end of the first lap and then battled hard to stay ahead of the lively Steve Boxall. The tigers lead by 24 points, and 11 on aggregate, but still no sign of any tactical changes.

Kyle takes the rider replacement ride in heat 11 but it's Ed wearing the back & white who steaks into the lead and rides a good fast line for a six point win. Steve Boxall is also wearing the black & white in heat 12 but Emiliano makes no mistake this time. Ed traps ahead in heat 13 but Ricky dives past into the lead on the third turn while Ben holds off Chris back in third place. Ed learns from Ricky's first lap manoeuvre and retakes the lead on the third lap only for Ricky to switch back and reclaim first place on the second turn of the last lap. The referee calls for a restart of heat 14 and allows Ben Powell extra time to refit the dirt deflector he lost when he reared. Paul makes his first decent start of the night but Tommy Allen leads by the back straight and that's how it all finishes. Ricky and Ben get the nod for the Tigers and face Ed and Steve for the Rockets. Ricky completes his six ride maximum in fine style while Ben is harried all the way to the flag by the impressive Steve with Ed a disinterested last.

A poor display by the Rockets with Chris Neath particularly disappointing following his last Owlerton performance. The Tigers top four were all in good form although our reserves were still poor. Benji to be fair did finish ahead of Chris Neath and didn't fall once, but Paul was struggling for speed yet again.
