Programme image  Rye House welcomed Tai Woffinden back to face the match rusty Tigers. Chris Neath led heat 1 but Robbie Kessler took a tumble at the back of the field causing a restart. Ricky made a better start second time around. James Cockle shot into the lead in heat 2 and held his advantage to the flag, and André made it a hat trick of wins leading Tommy Allen home after Tai had fallen in heat 3. Sheffield's lead went in heat 4 as Steve Boxall and Adam Roynon outpaced Joel and Paul, and the Tigers went four behind in heat 5 as Tai and Tommy left Ricky and Ben floundering.

Chris Neath won heat 6 but Paul and Joel took advantage of another fall by Herr Flick to share the heat. Steve Boxall won heat 7, but once again the Tigers were gifted a share of the points with Luke Bowen taking a second turn tumble. James Cockle led heat 8 but Adam Roynon passed him to take the win and Herr Flick stayed on two wheels to finish ahead of Ben Wilson. Tai and Tommy took an untroubled 5-1 in heat 9 ahead of Joel with Paul tumbling off at the back of the field, and as we were now 10 points down tactics came into play. André was wearing the black & white helmet colour as he battled his way past Chris Neath into second place but by this time Adam Roynon was long gone. The Tigers trail by 10 points, but are looking good for the bonus as they are still 9 points ahead on aggregate.

Steve Boxall won heat 11 but Adam (in for Luke Bowen who hurt his wrist when he fell) was unable to continue where he left off in the previous heat and trailed home last behind Ricky and Ben. Tai got the drop on André to win heat 12 and Adam (three heats on the trot) contained Paul to nibble away at the Tigers aggregate lead. Steve and Chris took a massive 5-1 ahead of Ricky and Joel in heat 13, and when Tommy and Adam did the same ahead of Birko and Cockle in heat 14 it left the Rockets one point ahead (on aggregate) going into the deciding last heat. The Rockets nominated the unbeaten Steve Boxall and Tai (1 fall and three wins), while the Tigers opted for Ricky and André who had one win each. When the tapes rose it was André who led the way from Steve and Ricky kept it tight to take the vital third place to clinch the bonus point.

Paul Cooper, Joel Parsons and James Birkinshaw all failed to finish ahead of a Rye rider all night. Ben Wilson finished ahead of Adam Roynon once. James Cockle won the reserves race on his way to 5 points and Ricky and André redeemed themselves with their efforts in heat 15. Rye is not a happy hunting ground and the lads may be race rusty, but even so this was still a poor result.
