Programme imageGood to see Josh back on form as he sped away to win heat 1 with Simon close up his exhaust but Brady Kurtz well behind. Arthur Sissis led heat 2 with Nathan passing Michael Palm Toft on the first lap. Nathan than had a moment on the back straight of lap 2 allowing Michael back into second and he closed in on Arthur and took the lead on the second turn of the last lap. Kyle Howarth swooped around Josh to lead heat 3, and Jack Holder trapped to win heat 4. Ellis elected to pull off the track but rode back to the pit gate. Brady looked more like the rider we've seen before winning heat 5 by blasting around Kyle on the first lap, and then Josh on the second. Sheffield lead by 8 points.

Simon and Kyle know they have a task on their hands in heat 6 but gate perfectly and ride high and wide to deny Jack Holder. Simon records the fastest time since Ricky nearly 6 years ago! Sam Simota gates ahead in heat 7 and Dmitri Berge is reluctant to attempt an outside pass. Is there any history there? Heat 8 sees the Tigers gating ahead but Nathan was passed by both Todd Kurtz and Michael on the first lap. Nathan sticks at it and tries an inside move on Michael on the last lap but gets the door slammed in his face and ends up on his arse. Jack on a tactical ride gated in heat 9 and went straight for the outside line. Ellis follows Josh for two laps and then decides he's wasting his time and again rides back to the pits. Simon and Dmitri lead the way in heat 10 with the visitors content to scrap for the last point and the maximum heat win puts the Tigers 11 points ahead.

Brady and Ellis gate ahead in heat 11 but Ellis is so surprised he tumbles off on the second bend! Jack rounded everyone to lead heat 13 and stayed wide to deny Simon. Josh repeated the manoeuvre at 14. It was Simon who gated to win heat 15 from Brady while Jack passed Kyle on the second lap to share the heat.
