Coops fell trying for 2nd place in heat 12 leaving us still four points in the lead. Ricky rode the inside line and was passed by both King and Stancl in heat 13 and with Wilson ineffective at the back the scores were level again. Coops led heat 14 from Stoddart with Joel trying to get past. Sean slowed dramatically on turn two and Joel was left with nowhere to go. Preston based referee Craig Ackroyd put his blinkers on and excluded Joel! Worse was to come. Paul trapped badly in the rerun but rounded Juul on the first lap. Richard dived under him on the third turn and rode him out to the fence on the fourth turn before putting his footrest through Paul's front spokes. Guess who was excluded...
Ricky, André, Joel and Paul won 8 races between them and accumulated 37 of our 41 points. Shame our other heat leader was only interested when he gated.
