The back straight was still under water as the first people filtered through the turnstiles and the start was delayed to allow Graham Trollope and his team a chance to get the track into shape. All credit to him as it rode amazingly well. Ricky sped into the lead in heat 1 and Ben capitalized on a wobble by Jason Lyons on the second turn to snatch second place for the first 5-1 of the evening. The visiting reserves were quickest from the start in heat 2 and while Benji picked off fellow Scorpion Scott Richardson he couldn't get the better of James Brundle, while Cooperman just didn't have any pace at the back of the field. Emiliano and Kyle stamped their authority on heat 3 right from the tapes. Ricky was the rider replacement in heat 4 and sped to a comfortable win ahead of Daniel King. Emiliano made another cracking start in heat 5 but Kyle had to defer to Jason on the first turn and then seemed reluctant to venture too wide and settled for third place.

Ricky made it three out of three in heat 6 but Daniel leaned on Ben into the first turn to secure second place. Ben eventually wound it on around the outside on the last lap and made up a lot of ground but he'd left it just a little too late. Emiliano made it look very easy as he sped to another win in heat 7 while Brent Werner made Cooperman look good! Ben and Benji were the first to show in heat 8 and Scott Richardson took a tumble entering the first turn on lap two but quickly cleared his bike from the track. Daniel King was on a tactical in heat 9 but Emiliano and Kyle took another 5-1 and denied him any extra points. Ben leapt from the start to lead heat 10 with Ricky rounding Jason King and then settling in behind his team mate for the third consecutive 5-1 to the Tigers who now lead by 26 points.

Jason Lyons is given the black & white helmet cover in heat 11, but it is Jon Armstrong who traps and leads down the back straight. Cooperman grabs a handful of throttle and his wide line takes him around Jon and into the lead exiting the pits turn with Kyle following him through into second place. Jason Lyons must have seen all of this from the back of the field but failed to make any attempt to pass his team mate. Emiliano and Benji make it five consecutive 5-1's as they outpace James Brundle in heat 12 and Scott Richardson takes a heavy tumble into the fence off the very last turn from last place. Ricky completes his maximum in heat 13 but Ben cannot thread his way around the field off the outside gate and after a four lap tussle with Daniel King it is the Fen Tigers skipper who takes the hard earned point. Jason King leads heat 14 until Kyle's outside swoop moves him from third to first. Cooperman is right up Jason's exhaust but that's the finishing order. I guess Ricky's hand is troubling him as the nominated riders are Emiliano and Ben to face Jason and Daniel. Emiliano has five wins to his credit but a poor start spoils his maximum. Ben leads until the last lap when Jason dives past into the third turn to claim his only win of the evening.
