Ricky dives under Lee Dicken The SheffieldWindow Centre Tigers make a poor start to heat 1 leaving Ricky working hard to try and get past Lee Dicken. He dives through on the first bend of lap 3 but then drifts Lee out who has to bale out. George Stancl & James Birkinshaw Birko makes a better start in the rerun and dives past George Stancl on the inside of turn 3 to take the lead and then leaves the Glasgow pair standing. In heat 2 Lee Smethills passes James Cockle to take the lead exiting turn 2 while at the back Paul has to work hard to contain David McAllan. Ben Wilson leads heat 3 but André is filled in at the back. André cannot find a way through on the inside and when he attempted an outside pass on the third lap he narrowly avoided hitting the fence. Joel Parsons bravely rounded David McAllan on the first lap to lead heat 4 but Cooperman could barely see a thing as he chased Trent Leverington. André and Ben took a tapes to flag win in heat 5 to break the deadlock and the sassenach Tigers lead by 4.

Paul Cooper, Lee Smethills, David McAllan & James Cockle Ricky wins heat 6 but Birko runs a last and conditions are not improving much. Joel Parsons wins heat 7 with Shane Parker right on his tail waiting for any slip. James Cockle battles past Robert Kseizak on the second turn and rides well to hold onto the place. Birko and Paul show first in heat 8 but David McAllan dives past Paul on the third turn and Paul couldn't respond. André and Ben are untroubled in heat 9, and Ricky won heat 10 at the canter. The Sheffield Window Centre Tigers lead by 12 points.

André Compton, Robert Kseizak & Ben Wilson Stewart Dickson makes his first tactical move by nominating George Stancl in heat 11 but Joel passes him on the second lap to the delight of the home fans. James C picks up the odd point by passing Lee Dicken on the second turn. André holds off Shane Parker in the early stages of heat 12 and Paul picks up a point ahead of Lee Smethills. Ricky and Joel were well ahead in heat 13 when Trent Leverington fell at the back and the race was awarded. Shane Parker takes a tactical substitution ride in heat 14 off a 15 metre handicap but it's Robert Kseizak who takes an early lead. Ben Wilson chops across James C on the third turn and the pair hurtle into the fence in a jumble of men and machines. Joel Parsons ahead of Shane Parker Ben is soon back on his feet but is excluded for being the cause of the stoppage, while James is eventually loaded into the ambulance on a back board. Paul takes his place in the rerun and takes the lead with a great first turn. Shane passes his team mate at the end of lap 2 and is all over Paul by the end of lap 3. Paul holds his line around the first two turns and pulls clear for a brilliant win. Joel is on a paid maximum and is rewarded with a heat 15 nomination. André leads from the gate while Joel cuts back from the outside to pass both Robert Kseizak and Shane Parker down the inside exiting turn 2! Shane Parker returns the compliment on the second lap to spoil Joel's paid maximum, but it won't be long coming.

James Cockle seems to have escaped with a badly bruised coccyx but we'll have to wait and see if he's able to ride at Glasgow on Sunday. Shame the track was so badly over watered as it robbed the fans of some potentially fine racing.
