2011 Programme  The A-Plant Tigers arrived at Owlerton with an unbeaten record following their away win at Newcastle in the Sky televised Easter Monday meeting. They didn't get off to a very good start though with Joe Screen not even reaching the first bend in heat 1. The visiting reserves made amends in heat 2 with Nick Morris particularly impressive and 1.2 seconds faster than Emiliano Sanchez in the first heat. Hugh Skidmore trapped ahead to win heat 3 but Josh made a customary slow start and just couldn't find his way past Christian Henry. Josh Grajczonek off the outside gate blasted around the field to lead heat 4. Ricky Ashworth kept tight to the white line and passed him as they started the second lap (the first pass of the night!). Theo Pijper led heat 5 but was mugged on the first bend of the third lap with Josh Auty and Hugh Skidmore passing simultaneously, one inside and one out. Classic speedway racing! Joe Screen also passed Theo on the third turn and made life interesting for Josh and all the supporters. The home Tigers lead by six points.

Shane Parker leads heat 6 from Josh Grajczonek and Emiliano with Nick retiring from the back at the end of the second lap. Ricky traps ahead in heat 7 and Simon Lambert blasts around the visitors on the second turn to join him for a maximum heat win. Emiliano rounded the field to lead heat 8 but Nick went too wide on the third turn and ended up in the fence on turn four. Emiliano couldn't repeat it in the rerun allowing Theo to take a six point tactical win. Heat 9 was the clash of the two Joshes with the visitor holding the trumps. Shane's turn for the big run from the outside gate in heat 10 and he leads down the back straight. Emiliano tries to go around Christian on the third turn and loses it but quickly clears the track. Home team leads by nine points.

Ricky and Joe have a great scrap for the lead in heat 11 while Theo and Simon battle over the last point. Joe dives under Ricky on the third turn to take the lead and one lap later Simon rounds Theo on the second turn to balance the scores. Christian leads the way in heat 12 with Ashley diving under Michal on the third turn for third place. Josh Auty powers around Christian on the second turn of the second lap to record his first win of the evening. Ricky leads heat 13 but has both Joe and Shane right up his exhaust. Shane goes around Joe on the pits turn on the second lap and tries to shield Ricky but Joe could so easily have passed the pair of them. Shane takes the wide line on the third turn of the last lap to prevent Joe having the opportunity and passes Ricky on the run to the finish line. Another brilliant speedway race. Michal leads heat 14 from Simon with Hugh trailing after a terrible start. Michal moves Simon wide on the pits turn allowing James Grieves into the lead. Simon and Hugh get in each others way and the visitors take a massive 8-1. Any heat advantage for the visitors would now earn them a league point but Shane was having none of that and he powered away to a convincing victory against his old club.
