The Monarchs remain undefeated this season. The Tigers started well and were
leading at the half way stage despite Ty Proctor being fenced by Sam Masters
in his first ride. Ty's made a terrible start to his second ride and lost further
ground when he went out wide. Switching to the inside he passed Simon Neilsen
on the second lap but made no impression on Max Fricke and lost further ground
went he tried the wide line again. How come visiting Aussies who have never
seen the place adapt so quickly when Ty hasn't the faintest idea. I suppose
it took Ricky Wells 2 years to learn the track, perhaps it's just a Wolverhampton
thing. Note to the management; No more Wolverhampton hand-me-downs thank
you.
Simon Nielsen looked good passing the Monarchs pair to win heat 2, as did Andre who held off a stern challenge from Max Fricke in heat 3. Leigh had a couple of spirited second places but never looked like winning while the less said the better about the rest of the team.
If they gate like they did tonight at Brough Park on Sunday the Diamonds will be in for another bumper pay day
