2011 Programme  Ricky Ashworth trapped well from gate 4 to lead the way in heat 1 with Matthew Wethers in close attendance. Kevin Wolbert dived under Hugh Skidmore as they exited the second turn but Hugh wound it all on and claimed the place back around the outside of the pits bend. Kyle Howarth was sharpest from the gate to win heat 2 but Lee Dicken ground to a halt on the third turn with his rear wheel seized. Andrew Tully led heat 3 but Emiliano Sanchez got out of shape on the second turn. Josh Auty had just scraped the fence to pass Kalle Katajisto and did well to avoid Emiliano. Josh set off after Andrew and swooped majestically around him on the last lap for a last to first win. Shane Parker swooped high and wide from gate 4 to lead down the back straight in heat 4. Craig Cook took a little longer but relieved Ashley Birks of third place at the start of the third lap. Kevin and Matthew gated ahead in heat 5 and not even Josh could split them leaving the scores level at 15 apiece.

Ricky led heat 6 and was joined by Hugh who passed Craig at the start of the second lap. Shane first to show in heat 7 and was joined by Simon. Shane expertly shielded his team mate home watching every move Andrew attempted. Ashley Birks gated ahead to lead heat 8 but both Monarchs blasted around him and Hugh dived up the inside out of the second turn. The Monarchs led heat 9 but Josh quickly passed his team mate, then Craig on the third bend and finally Kyle on the third lap. Andrew trapped ahead in heat 10 but his lead was short lived as Hugh passed him exiting the second turn and then Ricky dived past entering the third. Tigers now lead by 10 which doesn't bode well for the aggregate score.

Shane trapped ahead in heat 11 but Simon was mugged on the second bend, although he fought back and eventually passed Kevin at the start of the last lap for a well deserved point. Andrew made another electric start in heat 12 and led as far as the back straight until both Josh and Simon flashed past him inside and out into the third turn. Ricky and Shane were untroubled taking maximum points from heat 13. Simon led heat 14 and was joined by Emiliano who rounded the Monarchs pair on the outside of the third bend on the first lap. Matthew was an obvious nomination for the visitors but Kyle Howarth was frankly a surprise given he'd trailed home last in his last two outings. Ricky trapped and sped into the lead but everyone was watching the brilliant race between Shane and Matthew which was decided in favour of the home favourite as he completed his paid maximum. A twenty eight point lead should be ample to see the Tigers through to the next round, but who knows which Tigers team will turn up at Armadale tomorrow...
