Cradley's Lance King was the last minute guest replacement after Shawn Moran failed a late fitness test, electing to save himself for the impending World Longtrack final. The Bee's also utilized a guest with Swindon's Phil Crump filling the injured Mitch Shirra's boots. Tigers new signing John Davis made his home debut with a sparkling paid maximum including a win over the 'Great Dane' in a last heat decider. Reserve Reg Wilson picked up his highest score of the season also beating Ole twice in the process.
