My man of the match The 'old enemy' were back in town. We knocked them out of the K.O. cup virtue of a 7-2 super heat and then won a rain-soaked Premiership meeting at the National Speedway Stadium. Brady Kurtz with an ankle injury rode in Poland at the weekend (scoring a four ride maximum) but was considered unfit for the UK allowing Chris Harris to be used as a guest. Acting captain Dan Bewley won the toss and chose the outside gates for heat 1 which has been Kyle's preference. Odd then that the Tigers opened proceedings with three heat wins and a 10 point lead. Dan Gilkes sped to a comfortable win in heat 2 and Jaimon Lidsey shut the door on Josh a couple of times to hold onto second place in heat 3. Tai was slow from the tapes and couldn't catch Dan B in heat 4. Chris Holder and Josh led the way in heat 5 until Bomber powered around Josh on the first lap. Tigers lead by 10 on the night and 20 on aggregate.

Jack wins from DanB in heat 6 but Kyle out paces ConnorM to extend the lead. Tai wins heat 7. DanG traps and holds Norick back in heat 8 while Kyle passes ConnorB on the second lap. DanB turns right on Josh on the way to the first turn in heat 9 and Josh just avoids falling. If that isn't first bend bunching then I don't know what is. Jack and Kyle trap in heat 10 and Jaimon Lidsey is well beaten. Tigers lead by 16 on the night and 26 on aggregate.

Tai wins heat 11 from Bomber. DanB is out as a tactical substitute in heat 12 and wins from Chris Holder for the second time, but the shared heat sees the Tigers assured of all the match points. The big guns are all out in heat 13. DanB traps from gate 3 and takes Tai off gate 4 right to the first bend fence causing Tai to shut the throttle from which he never recovered. Josh goes high and wide in heat 14 and from 3rd to first in one lap. Chris Holder gets his revenge over 'right hand down a bit' Dan winning the nominated heat and with Kyle taking the odd point from Bomber the Tigers inflict the heaviest defeat the Aces have suffered all season!

Analysis of starting gate positions:
Gate 1 - 22(+1)pts 4 wins. Gate 2 - 30(+2)pts 4 wins. Gate 3 - 24(+2)pts 4 wins. Gate 4 - 14(+1)pts 3 wins.
