My man of the match Jack was electric away from gate 4 to win heat 1 with Norick a poor second, Kyle kept to the white line and Brady was very slow from gate 3 and never looked like challenging. Connor Mountain trapped ahead to win heat 2. Jason made an inside pass at the end of the first lap but Dan Gilkes never recovered from a typical gate 3 start. Chris off gate 4 passed Jaimon down the back straight into the lead of heat 3. Josh couldn't catch them but easily out paced Ben. Tai was warned for moving at the start of heat 4, but made no mistake in the restart to take an impressive win. Connor Bailey was shepherded home by Dan Bewley, content with a share of the points given their 6 point aggregate lead. Brady was off gate 4 in heat 5, trapped and and won in the fastest time of the night. Chris and Josh shared the heat and the Tigers lead by 2 points, but trail by 6 on aggregate.

Dan Bewley sped from gate 1 to win heat 6 from Kyle but Jack was very slow away from gate 2. Tai won from the inside gate in heat 7 with Ben and Jaimon trailing well behind. Norick won heat 4 from the outside gate. Dan Gilkes did enough to keep rising star Connor Bailey contained but Kyle never recovered from a typical gate 3 start. The Aces move back into an 8 point aggregate lead. DanB and ConnorM trapped ahead in heat 9 but Josh was unable to pass Connor on the inside. He moved to an outside challenge and rounded Connor exiting turn 2 on the last lap. Chris saw a gap on the inside of the pits turn and just snatched third place on the run to the line. Kyle led heat 10 but Jack off gate 3 rounded both of the Aces out of turn two. He then dived under Kyle into turn 3 and both Aces followed him past Kyle. Scores are level on the night but the Aces are 8 points ahead on aggregate.

Tai takes another clear win in heat 11 but Norick and Brady are happy just to share the heat ahead of Jason. DanG is determined off gate 4 in heat 12 but Jaimon plants him under the fence on the first turn. Chris passes ConnorM to win the rerun but it's yet another shared heat. The Tigers supporters are thinking 5-1's from heats 13 and 15 will be enough to force a super heat. Tai is following Jack in heat 13 but hits unexpected drive on the third bend allowing DanB through to second place. Six down with two heats remaining. Ben Cook traps in heat 14 but Josh takes the lead on the inside of turn 2 on the second lap. Jason just holds off a strong ConnorB challenge and the deficit is down to 4. DanB and Jaimon are Mark Lemon's nominations for heat 15. Odd given Jaimon has only managed 2 seconds and 2 thirds? Jack leads from the gate but Tai flies around the outside to join him at the front and the match is drawn. Super heat time and guest team manager Garry May has no hesitation. Mark Lemon chooses Brady to partner DanB but the outcome is the same with Jack following fence scraping Tai home for a 7-2 which set the terraces alight just like the end of last season.

F1 stock cars the previous weekend left gate 3 a bit of a problem but otherwise the track rode well.

Analysis of starting gate positions:
Gate 1 - 31(+5)pts 3 wins. Gate 2 - 22(+2)pts 4 wins. Gate 3 - 19(+2)pts 3 wins. Gate 4 - 27(+1)pts 6 wins.
