2011 Programme  Hugh Skidmore led the way into the new season ahead of Chris Harris, and with Shane Parker passing Charlie Gjedde out of turn two it looked good for the Tigers. Chris showed us the difference between the leagues with a clinical pass at the end of the third lap, although his Danish team mate made no impression in last place. It was a bit hairy on the first bend of heat 2 with Simon Lambert taking evasive action. The race settled down with Craig Cook leading from Ashley Birks and Simon Lambert climbing all over the back wheel of Tomasz Piszcz. Simon eventually barged his way past the Pole out of the last bend to claim third place and another shared heat. Patrick Hougaard won heat 3 at a canter from Ricky Ashworth, but Ricky Kling never looked like challenging Emiliano Sanchez for third place. Tomasz changed to another bike well into the 2 mins allowance and was excluded by Darren Hartly for not having a dirt deflector fitted. Craig replaced him but could only follow his team mate Rory Schlein home behind a flying Josh Auty. Heat 5 is where it all started to go wrong for the Tigers. Emiliano off gate 4 was going for a big outside blast when Charlie and Ricky Ashworth both wanted the same bit of track. Ricky careered into Emiliano and it looked very nasty. Two badly bent machines and a sore shoulder for Emiliano was the result. Chris took the rerun, and with Ricky Ashworth expiring from second place it put the visitors ahead.

Rory sped away to win heat 6 from the Tigers Aussie pairing. Josh passed Ricky Kling to win heat 7 but Patrick rounded Ashley on the pits turn to share the heat. Hugh took a wide blast and rounded Charlie out of the second turn to win heat 8. Ricky Ashworth was taken very wide by Craig in heat 9 and took another tumble leaving him without a machine. The Tigers reserves were gifted a 3-3 when Craig's bike dropped a chain in the rerun. Heat 10 was also shared with Patrick leading our Aussies home.

Josh and Ashley were first to show in heat 11. Chris made short work of passing Ashley but found Josh an altogether different matter, with Chris tumbling off on the first turn of the third lap. Ashley held Charlie at bay and the 5-1 leveled the scores! With Ricky Ashworth also withdrawn from the meeting our hard working reserves were back out again and succumbed to another 1-5. The same fate befell Shane and Josh in heat 13 as Chris and Rory showed them a clean pair of heels. Our reserves were out again in heat 14 and Patrick and Tomasz proved too fast for them. The visitors nominated Chris and Patrick and although Josh never stopped pushing the visitors made it four 1-5s on the trot to run out 16 point winners.
