Ricky Ashworth trapped ahead in heat 1 and was joined at the front by Hugh Skidmore as he dived past Tomas Piszcz on the second turn. Paul Cooper led the way in heat 2 ahead of Richard Sweetman with Chris Mills getting completely filled in at the end of lap 2. Robert Ksiezak led from the tapes in heat 3 but was blitzed by both Richard Hall and Joel Parsons on the first turn. Chris Mills led heat 4 until Richard Sweetman dived through to take the lead on the third turn. Josh Auty held Jason Lyons at bay until lap three and fell as Jason dived under him. Jason seemed to have a few problems in the rerun and trailed in third a long way behind. Tomas shut the door on Richard Hall down the back straight in heat 5 but Richard kept the pressure on, swooped high and wide around the pits turn at the end of lap three and took the lead on the inside of turn one on the last lap leaving the Tigers ten points ahead.

Ricky led heat 6 with Jason shutting Hugh out down the back straight. Paul swooped around the field to lead down the back straight in heat 7 while Josh had to battle against Robert before rounding him on the last lap. Richard Sweetman was on a tactical ride in heat 8 and headed straight for the outside. Hugh tried his all but Richard held all the trumps. Richard Hall rounded Jason on the first turn and took Richard wide on turn two to lead heat 9. Joel dived past Richard Sweetman  at the start of the second lap. Robert took Ricky into no-mans land at the start of heat 10 but was then passed by Hugh on the pits turn. Ricky fought back and passed Ludvig Lindgren on the pits turn on lap three. Tigers now seventeen points ahead.

Tomas was on a tactical in heat 11 and he and Richard Sweetman trapped beautifully and stymied Josh's every attempt to split them. Joel led heat 12 but Chris and Richard Sweetman had a ding dong battle for third. Richard passed Chris on the pits turn at the end of lap two, but Chris dived back into second on the first bend of lap three and just held on to the line. Tomas and Jason mugged Ricky on the back straight of heat 13 and Ricky then retired on the second lap. Richard Hall led heat 14 and Paul dived under Richard Sweetman on the third turn and took him very wide on turn four allowing Luke Priest through into third place. Richard Hall off gate four swooped imperiously around the field to lead down the back straight and left the Brummies trailing as he recorded his second consecutive maximum.
