What a mess! Berwick protested about the rider replacement facility which had been granted to cover Ty Proctor who had a previous fixture at Eastbourne for parent club Wolverhampton. The rule book stipulates that the only facility for a missing rider who hasn't actually ridden for you is a National League guest and following Thursdays rain-off this was now the situation. That's fine, but the Sheffield management were told of this just 20 minutes before the start, and that too is against regulations! A compromise was reached. Although he was not officially witholding his services the Tigers were allowed the r/r facility to replace Adam Roynon instead. This would normally mean that Adam would face a 28 ban! As far as the meeting goes the Bandits dominated from the start with the Tigers staging a minor resurgence towards the end. I would suggest that we need to win by 21 points on Thursday or the Bandits will be making another protest about the 3 rider replacement points
